Dorms and hostels in Delhi for backpackers

I am an avid traveller who likes to explore different places and interact with locals. There are some exceptional places in India that need exploration. Even within Delhi, one will find such a rich culture and heritage preserved for ages.

Hostels and bed and breakfasts might come in handy for enthusiasts. I have stayed in some of these places and have a good idea as an Indian backpacker and can shed some light on where to stay on a budget for your next visit.

Some of the things to keep in mind while touring and travelling are hygiene and safety. As a female solo traveller, these are my priorities. While some people prefer comfort over budget, it suffices to say that explorers hardly get any time to rest.

Now, the Delhi metro is probably the best way to commute. But people without any private vehicle prefer taking cabs. Sure, you’ll get an AC, but explorers would rather explore than sleep away. I would suggest going for a rickshaw or bike. At Gostops, there are electric bikes for rent at reasonable rates as well.
