Quantstamp is what we need on Ethereum blockchain

I am a software engineer, a cryptocurrency enthusiast living in the San Francisco Bay Area. These past couple years I have become more and more involved in the crypto scene. Now we are definitely part of a really exciting time, so many new new ideas and projects are enabled by the blockchain technology. There are so many ICOs everyday, but i think there are good and bad around it.

The core of Ethereum blockchain technology is that it enables people to run smart contract code on anyone’s machine in the world. So we all can interact with smart contract and it allows people to build many projects on top of Ethereum and try to solve a real life problem. However, there are potential security issues if you just let any smart contract to run on your machine. What if there are some bugs in the smart contracts, bad thing can happen. Malicious hacker can take advantage of it and try to steal coins from you, just like what happened in the DAO attack, millions of dollars worth of Ether were stolen by some hacker. More and more of those attacks could happen as there are so many ICOs nowadays. A solution for this has always been a missing piece in Ethereum blockchain technology.

How do we prevent this from happening? Quantstamp protocol can potentially save us from all of these! Quantstamp is solving this problem by automating audits of smart contracts in a decentralized and trustless way. It has a great roadmap and a great team. It has many Phd from top school and has been in the industrial for many years. A lot of them have good research experience. I believe in their ability to conquer this problem.They already put in work in their Github. Also they recently did an audit for Request Network’s ICO. Request Network in my opinion is the top ICO in Octorber, which is backed by Y-combinator. Already partnering with another strong team, really gives me more confident in this project.
